I find it quite interesting to consider why I took CMDP 1400.  Although the specific reason I enrolled in this course may be because it was a foundational requirement for my major, I think the better question to answer is why I chose this as my major. Visual Media has been a personal passion of mine ever since I got my first camera for Christmas, six years ago. Since then, my every day life has been immersed in the world of visual creation; my life has been documented through photography and videography, and I have discovered several newfound ways to depict the beauty of the outdoors where I feel most at home. I came to Boulder to study Media Production in an effort to learn how best I can showcase the beauty of the rugged, uncomfortable, and incredible outdoors that I know and love.
